The details behind Simone Inzaghi’s move to Al Hilal have been revealed by his agent Federico Pastorello, who explained how the transfer developed over time and the key factors behind the former Inter coach’s decision.
Speaking to Sport Mediaset, with quotes via FCInterNews, Pastorello clarified that the deal was not something arranged overnight.
“It’s a transfer that obviously doesn’t happen in four days – there’s a lot of work behind it,” he said.
“We had already explored this kind of opportunity before, but he never wanted to enter into the details of a potential agreement until certain things had happened.”
Pastorello: Inzaghi Made Intentions Clear At Inter Before Al Hilal Move

According to the agent, Inzaghi had been clear about his intentions while still in charge of Inter.
“He told me that if he had won the Champions League, he would never have left Inter,” Pastorello revealed.
“The decision came after the final in Munich and the subsequent talks with the club’s management, even if some groundwork had been done beforehand.”
The financial package from Al Hilal played a role.
However, Pastorello stressed that Inzaghi was also motivated by the desire to test himself abroad.
“The economic aspect mattered, of course, but he wanted a new challenge outside Italy,” he said. “The Saudi league is now one of the most important in the world.
“Not only for its resources, but also for its growing quality.
“Al Hilal is the biggest club in Asia in terms of history and supporters.”

I could care less. I’m especially thankful he left and hope he never returns. As for Chivu, he has my full support and trust.
I support any manager that gives/gave his best for inter. Inzaghi was one of them but I am 100% sure that the information was leaked and the squad knew indirectly where inzaghi SHOULD have announced that he’s leaving. Also putting ur players under the win it or ill leave feels a little weird.
bottom line is inzaghi did not keep the boys focused on the objective.
i dont understand italian but chivu sounds commanding and assertive. I trust he will solve the leaks at the back. I have high expectations of him.
Lautaro assisted against Venezuela bu had 4 great chances.
The team was so good last season. It’s very sad that they lost the final against PSG. I feel the coach, he expected more from his players after all the hard work and dedication. I feel sorry also if the coach is leaving. He is a great coach and having a good team too. I wish he can stay.
6 against Barça. 😛
blessing in disguise?
I don’t really care tbh. Its way more exciting to watch Inter under Chivu right now.
Let see how we play against strong teams. We lost and conceded 4 goals against Juventus.
we also conceded 5 against psg, and 7 against barca, and also 4 against juventus last year
6 against Barça.
Point still stands
