Inter Milan are reportedly ‘dreaming’ of replacing Yann Sommer with Roma goalkeeper Mile Svilar next summer.

According to Tuttosport via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri have identified the 26-year-old as the ideal replacement for their veteran star.

It’s a near certainty that Inter Milan will sever ties with Yann Sommer at the end of the season.

Indeed, the San Siro giants have no intention of extending the 36-year-old’s expiring contract.

Therefore, they’re in the market for a new shot-stopper.

The 20-time Serie A champions are keeping tabs on several goalkeepers, including Freiburg’s rising star Noah Atubolu.

Meanwhile, Atalanta ace Marco Carnessechi remains an option for the Nerazzurri.

The same goes for highly-rated Cagliari star Elia Caprie, who’s enjoying a superb start to the season.

However, Svilar would reportedly be a ‘dream’ signing for Inter.

The former Anderlecht and Benfica goalkeeper has become one of the best stoppers in Serie A over the past few years.

With that in mind, it’s no wonder Roma extended his contract until 2030 in July.
