Ange-Yoan Bonny was once again the difference-maker for Inter Milan, scoring the only goal of the game as Cristian Chivu’s side beat Roma 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico.

The French forward, named Panini Player of the Match, reflected on another strong performance and the team’s growing momentum.

“Scoring is always special,” Bonny told Sky Sport after the match, with quotes via FCInterNews.

“Tonight we worked with great team spirit and we’re happy to have earned these three very important points.”

The 20-year-old striker’s finish from Nicolo Barella’s assist sealed Inter’s sixth consecutive win in all competitions, keeping them firmly in the Scudetto race.

Bonny continued a good personal run of form after another player of the match performance before the international break.

Bonny also spoke about his bond with fellow youngster Francesco Pio Esposito, who came off the bench late in the match.

“It’s great to keep learning every day,” he said.

“Pio and I are the youngest in the squad – he came on tonight and did a great job. We’ll keep pushing forward together.”

With confidence and chemistry growing, Bonny continues to establish himself as one of Chivu’s most promising attacking weapons in this new-look Inter side.
