Cristian Chivu has quickly set a new tone at Inter Milan, helping the team recover from a string of bad beats at the end of last season.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, the 44-year-old sent a clear message to his players upon his arrival in June.

Simone Inzaghi’s sudden decision to leave San Siro at the end of the 2024/25 season has proved a blessing in disguise.

Despite the 49-year-old’s vast success, the Nerazzurri needed a change after a heartbreaking campaign.

And Cristian Chivu has been just what the doctor ordered for the 20-time Serie A champions.

Chivu reportedly reminded his players of their strength immediately after taking charge at the beginning of the summer.

“You were strong before and you still are, a defeat, even if heavy, does not erase anything,” he said.

Fast forward a few months, and the Italian giants are again displaying a renewed sense of confidence and team unity.

Indeed, six successive wins in all competitions perhaps best illustrate Inter’s return to form under Chivu’s guidance.

Furthermore, everyone is participating in this incredible renaissance, including bit-part players.
