Inter Milan starlets Ange-Yoan Bonny and Francesco Pio Esposito have been firing on all cylinders at the beginning of their careers at San Siro.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the era of over-reliance on Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram is over.

Indeed, former manager Simone Inzaghi heavily depended on the Thu-La partnership last season.

Unfortunately, backup options Joaquin Correa, Mehdi Taremi, and Marko Arnautovic failed to live up to expectations.

However, that’s now a matter of history.

Inter’s decision to replace the underperforming trio with Ange-Yoan Bonny and Francesco Pio Esposito has proven spot on.

Despite lacking Serie A experience, the latter has been outstanding in the early stages of his senior career at Giuseppe Meazza.

After finding his top-flight breakthrough against Cagliari, Esposito scored his maiden Champions League goal on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Bonny, who set him up for the goal against Royale Union SG, has been in red-hot form.

Indeed, the Frenchman has netted three goals and added three assists in Serie A alone.

Therefore, the young duo has already eased the burden on Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.
