Inter Milan are awaiting further medical updates on Henrikh Mkhitaryan after the midfielder was forced off early in the 3-1 defeat against Napoli at the Stadio Maradona.

The Armenian left the pitch in the 32nd minute, shortly after the penalty incident that led to the opening goal of the match.

According to the club, via FCInterNews, Mkhitaryan suffered a flexor problem in his left thigh.

Therefore, he will undergo further assessments in the coming days to determine the extent of the injury and any potential recovery timeline.
