Francesco Pio Esposito will reportedly lead the line in tonight’s Serie A match between Inter Milan and Fiorentina.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 20-year-old will take Ange-Yoan Bonny’s place in the starting lineup.

Bonny got the nod in attack on Saturday when Inter slipped to a controversial 3-1 defeat at Napoli.

However, after scoring in back-to-back league games, the Frenchman failed to impress at the Maradona Stadium.

Therefore, Cristian Chivu plans to replace the 21-year-old with his Italian counterpart tonight.

With Marcus Thuram still on the sidelines, the attacking responsibilities fall to Esposito and Bonny.

Though he only scored once in Serie A this season, Esposito’s overall performances have been promising.

Interestingly, the Italian prodigy is still waiting for his first goal at San Siro.

Perhaps this fixture could be the perfect opportunity for the highly-rated striker to get off the mark on Inter’s home ground.

Meanwhile, Lautaro Martinez will partner up with his juvenile teammate in attack, seeking redemption for a dismal showing against Napoli.
