Inter Milan goalkeeper Josep Martinez is going through a real-life drama after being involved in a tragic car accident yesterday.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, the 27-year-old has been under constant psychological surveillance in the past 24 hours.

Josep Martinez was on his way to Appiano Gentile when his brand-new electric SUV struck an 81-year-old man in an electric wheelchair.

Unfortunately, the collision resulted in a fatal accident, with the local resident sadly losing his life.

Despite Martinez’s attempt to provide help, Paolo Saibene passed away on the scene.

This unfortunate incident has left the entire Inter Milan squad in shock, significantly derailing the team’s morale.

Indeed, the atmosphere at Appiano Gentile has been somber, with players and staff visibly shaken by the tragic events.
