AC Milan and Inter are reportedly taking concrete steps toward finalizing their purchase of San Siro and the surrounding areas.

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Serie A giants are on the verge of completing this monumental deal.

In recent days, the banks involved have provided guarantees worth around €100 million.

However, the San Siro clubs still need to raise a total of €197 million to buy the stadium and the surrounding land.

Therefore, both sides must now move quickly to secure the remaining funds.

The fate of San Siro has been one of the major talking points in Italy over the past 12 months.
