Inter Milan prodigy Luka Topalovic made an incredible impact off the bench in Monday’s 3-1 away win over AlbinoLeffe.
According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the 19-year-old’s stellar exploits at AlbinoLeffe earned him a spot in Serie C’s Team of the Week for Round 12.
Stefano Vecchi oversaw another impressive league victory as his U23 side stunned La Celeste in their own backyard.
However, the game was hanging by a thread heading into the last ten minutes before Luka Topalovic decided to take matters into his own hands.
Inter Milan Starlet Luka Topalovic Makes Serie C Team of the Week

Vecchi benched Topalovic for the third time in the last four league matches, only to sub him on in the 82nd minute.
Indeed, the Slovenian teenager took Luca Fiordilino’s place eight minutes from time and turned the game on its head.
With the scoreline tied at 1-1, Topalovic restored Inter’s lead in the 84th minute, just two minutes after coming on.
Then, he sealed AlbinoLeffe’s fate in stoppage time, completing his first-ever double in Serie C.
In doing so, he earned a place in the Team of the Week.

This is what I like from our club recently… there is a hope for academy player to actually play for senior team one day.
Before, Inter never consider their academy player to play in senior team except for a special case like dimarco… or balotelli or santon or obafemi martins.
We always buy from other teams even for our previous lords.
or or or or. that means inter do consider, but have high standards lmao
Hopefully next season he can start playing for us like how Pio is jumping on.
Too early to just go from third to first tier of competition. He’ll need minutes at higher level, so best option for him would be loan to a team who will contend for promotion from seria B or lower table team from seria A, Good example how to use minutes on loan is Akinsanmiro. One of the best players in Pisa currently and if he continues like this, should be able to join senior team next season with Stankovic and probably Carboni.
Agree, we should not rush him. Better to let him make slower but safer steps.
this boy is a gem….love to see him play for the senior team one day
