France gaffer Didier Deschamps has left Inter Milan star Marcus Thuram out of his squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
According to FCInterNews, the 28-year-old won’t be part of the national team in October’s matches against Ukraine and Azerbaijan.
Seeking their eighth consecutive World Cup appearance, Les Bleus have enjoyed a near-faultless start to their qualifying campaign.
Indeed, they had won their opening three Group D fixtures before sharing the spoils with Iceland in a high-scoring 2-2 draw.
Inter Milan Ace Marcus Thuram Left Out of France Squad

Despite recovering from a nasty hamstring injury, Marcus Thuram will not feature for France this month.
Indeed, Deschamps has decided against calling up the former Borussia Monchengladbach forward.
However, it’s only a precautionary measure as Thuram only recently resumed full training.
Still, he made a cameo appearance in Inter’s 2-1 home win over Kairat Almaty last night and almost got on the scoresheet.
Deschamps’ decision to let Thuram stay at Appiano Gentile during the international break should benefit Inter.
Now, the French goal-getter has enough time to regain match form and prepare for the upcoming derby clash against AC Milan.
