The position of Davide Frattesi at Inter Milan is becoming increasingly uncertain as Cristian Chivu struggles to find his place in the team.
The Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, report that the club may consider offers for the midfielder as early as January.
Although Cristian Chivu has continued to involve Frattesi regularly, he has struggled to find rhythm or impact performances in his second season with the Nerazzurri.
The Rome-born midfielder has featured in each of the last seven Serie A matches.
Meanwhile also starting both Champions League fixtures against Union Saint-Gilloise and Kairat Almaty.
His display against Kairat midweek underlined those frustrations.
He was hesitant on the ball and guilty of missing two clear chances to score.
Under former coach Simone Inzaghi, an exit in the summer would have been automatic.
However, Chivu’s arrival convinced Frattesi to stay.

The new boss initially envisioning him in a more advanced role in a 3-4-2-1 setup.
However, that system was soon abandoned due to a lack of balance in midfield.
This therefore left Frattesi without a defined place in the current, more vertical version of Inter.
Talks over a potential contract extension have gone silent, and Inter’s hierarchy is reportedly open to parting ways if a suitable offer arrives.
Chivu is looking to reshape his midfield options in the winter window.
Therefore, a January exit for Frattesi, once seen as a key piece of the club’s future, can no longer be ruled out.
kone hasnt impressed me ,, few times i saw him play –
frattesi looked sluggish in recent ucl match – possibly needs more fluid playing time !
Since Roma wanted him and need to score more goals, then it might be possible to get Kone for Frattesi+cash.
