Marcus Thuram and Francesco Acerbi look set to return to Inter Milan’s starting lineup tonight as Cristian Chivu reshuffles his team for the Serie A showdown against Lazio.

According to Tuttosport, the French forward is in line to reunite with Lautaro Martinez after proving his fitness in the Champions League win over Kairat Almaty.

Thuram had been sidelined for over a month with a left thigh injury sustained against Slavia Prague.

However, he has fully recovered and is pushing for a start, although Ange-Yoan Bonny remains a contender.

At the back, Chivu is expected to restore Francesco Acerbi to the starting XI.

The 37-year-old, a former Lazio player, should line up alongside Manuel Akanji and Alessandro Bastoni.

Hakan Calhanoglu, Petar Sucic, and Nicolò Barella are all tipped to start in midfield.

Meanwhile Denzel Dumfries and Federico Dimarco occupy the wings.
