Inter Milan showed no mercy to Lazio in last night’s mouth-watering Serie A showdown at San Siro, securing a clinical 2-0 win. 

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, Cristian Chivu’s men were ‘ruthless’ on their way to the top of the table.

Goals on either side of halftime saw the Nerazzurri register their third consecutive win in Serie A following a controversial 3-1 defeat at Napoli.

Indeed, Lautaro Martinez and Ange-Yoan Bonny found the net to inspire Inter to another important victory.

Inter returned to their best following a scrappy 2-1 home win over Kairat Almaty in midweek Champions League action.

Furthermore, the San Siro giants finally demonstrated composure in front of goal after several wasteful performances earlier in the season.

To put that in perspective, two of Inter’s three shots on target finished behind Ivan Provedel’s back.

Meanwhile, Inter showed willingness to fight for every possession, resulting in three yellow cards for Manuel Akanji, Petar, Sucic, and Denzel Dumfries.

However, it was a small price to pay as they maintained a feel-good factor going into November’s international break.
