Cristian Chivu has exceeded expectations since taking over the reins from Simone Inzaghi at Inter Milan in the summer.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, it’s no coincidence that they’ve already netted 37 goals this season.

Goals from Lautaro Martinez and Ange-Yoan Bonny inspired Inter to a 2-0 home win over Lazio, propelling them to the top of the Serie A table.

Furthermore, the Nerazzurri lead the scoring charts in the top flight with an eye-catching 26 goals.

Meanwhile, they’ve been faultless in the Champions League, winning all four matches by an aggregate score of 11-1.

Inter became synonymous with prolonged, often meaningless spells of possession under former boss Simone Inzaghi.

However, Chivu has eradicated that habit, implementing a high-pressure and direct style that prioritizes quick transitions.

In doing so, the 45-year-old has turned Inter into a formidable attacking force again.

Furthermore, training sessions have become lengthier and more intense.

That’s part of Chivu’s strategy to minimize fatigue and injuries, ensuring his players remain competitive across multiple competitions.
