Inter Milan are no longer the only Serie A side interested in Sassuolo defender Tarik Muharemovic, with Juventus joining the race. 

According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the Turin giants are looking to hijack Inter’s pursuit of the 22-year-old. 

Tarik Muharemovic left the Bianconeri academy to sign a multi-year contract at the Mapei Stadium in 2024.

However, he could return to the Allianz Stadium sooner than expected.

Keen to avoid another ‘Dean Huijsen’ scenario, Juventus have reportedly decided to re-sign the Bosnian starlet.

After selling Muharemovic to Sassuolo for a measly €3 million, Juventus are eager to lure him back to Turin.

Furthermore, Luciano Spalletti’s men are planning to leverage the clause that grants the club 50 % of any future sale.

Meanwhile, Muharemovic’s stock has risen to an eye-watering €20 million on the back of his superb form this season.

His rise to stardom in Emilia-Romagna has not gone unnoticed, with Inter setting their sights on him.

However, Juventus could spoil Inter’s hopes of signing the talented defender at the end of the season.
