Inter Milan have reportedly decided not to offer veteran goalkeeper Yann Sommer a new contract.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, the 36-year-old is on the verge of leaving San Siro.
Yann Sommer joined Inter from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023, taking Andre Onana’s place in goal.
Despite arriving at the club in the twilight of his playing career, the Swiss star has been a model of consistency between the sticks.
Inter Milan Decided Not to Extend Yann Sommer Deal

Sommer’s contract runs out at the end of the season.
However, the Nerazzurri will not offer him fresh terms, with the club already searching for his replacement.
Inter signed Josep Martinez from Genoa last summer, but the Spaniard has had to settle for playing second fiddle to Sommer.
Furthermore, Matinez has failed to convince the Serie A giants of his capacity to succeed the former Borussia Monchengladbach ace.
Therefore, Cristian Chivu’s men have set their sights of several promising shot-stoppers, including Noah Atubolu and Elia Caprile.
