Inter Milan have reportedly identified Bologna captain Lewis Ferguson as a potential target ahead of the January transfer window.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri have dropped their interest in Morten Frendrup and Manu Kone.
Manu Kone emerged as Inter’s top target following a failed pursuit of Ademola Lookman in the summer.
However, Roma refused to sell their standout midfielder despite the player’s alleged desire to join the Nerazzurri.
Fast forward a few months and Inter are no longer interested in the French ace.
Inter Milan Keen to Sign Bologna Star Lewis Ferguson

At 26, Ferguson is at his peak, which is why Inter may find it difficult to convince Bologna to offload their captain.
Indeed, the Scottish midfielder has established himself as a key cog in Vincenzo Italiano’s system.
Therefore, the Renato Dall’Ara outfit will likely go above and beyond to prevent the former Aberdeen starlet from signing for Inter.
Furthermore, Ferguson won’t come cheap, with the Rossoblu expecting at least €30 million for their talismanic midfielder.
Needless to say, any midfield arrival will depend on the future of Davide Frattesi.

Lol..
Why are we rumored with these kind of players at all? Next season we’ll have Barella, Stankovic, Sucic and probably one of Hakan/Zielinski. As sixth player better use Akinsanmiro or Topalovic and spend some real money on just 1 target in midfield that can immediately impact first team (preferably left-footed as we won’t have anyone in squad).
Exactly my point. Also we need a defender and hopefully some wingers more than midfielders.
Please let this be not true
