Inter Milan could have a busy January transfer window as they aim to strengthen their stranglehold on Serie A.

According to Tuttosport via FCInter1908, signing a new right-back has become the club’s top priority after Luis Henrique’s dreadful start.

Despite making the Brazilian winger their marquee summer signing, the Nerazzurri have already come to regret spending €23 million to sign him from Marseille.

Indeed, the 23-year-old could be on his way out of San Siro when the transfer window reopens for business in January.

Denzel Dumfries remains a key component of Cristian Chivu’s setup.

However, with high-stakes matches coming thick and fast, the Dutchman needs rest.

And since Chivu cannot rely on Henrique, Inter must return to the market to address this issue.

Despite recovering from injury, Matteo Darmian is in the autumn of his career, while Inter need a long-term option on the right wing.

Therefore, the Serie A pacesetters have reportedly set their sights on Genoa starlet Brooke Norton-Cuffy.

Furthermore, Inter will also place a higher priority on signing a new wingback than on bringing in a goalkeeper or center-back.
