Preparations for the highly anticipated Derby della Madonnina clash between Inter and AC Milan are well underway.

One of the most iconic fixtures in the Serie A calendar pits Inter and Milan against each other this Sunday.

Moreover, the stakes are high as both teams will be out to claim bragging rights at San Siro.

However, there’s more than just pride on the line, with both sides firmly embroiled in an early Scudetto tussle.

Eight Internationals Return to Training Ahead of Inter vs AC Milan Clash

All five Italian stars, including Alessandro Bastoni, Nicolo Barella, Federico Dimarco, Davide Frattesi, and Francesco Pio Esposito are back from international duty.

Furthermore, Lautaro Martinez returned home over the weekend after helping Argentina beat Angola 2-0 last Friday.

Meanwhile, Hakan Calhanoglu, Petar Sucic, and Piotr Zielinski have also joined the rest of the team.

Therefore, only Manuel Akanji is missing, but he should be back by tomorrow morning.

On the other hand, Inter will likely be without Denzel Dumfries, who’s still struggling with an ankle injury.
