Inter refuse to sell Luis Henrique in January despite interest from Roma, with the club making a firm internal decision to keep the Brazilian winger.
Reports suggesting an early exit have circulated in recent weeks, but Inter’s stance remains unequivocal as the winter window approaches.
According to Gianluigi Longari, speaking in his column for Sportitalia. “There has never been any consideration of a possible departure for Luis Henrique.”
He explained that the former Marseille winger “enjoys the esteem and trust of Inter’s management as well as Cristian Chivu.”
Therefore the coach sees long-term value in the Brazilian’s profile.
Inter Keep Faith In Luis Henrique Amid Roma Interest

Longari added that Inter remain “absolutely convinced” in the Brazilian.
And indeed, that he can rediscover the qualities that prompted the club to sign him in the first place.
Last season he produced 9 goals and 10 assists across Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France, numbers that underpin Inter’s confidence.
Early approaches from other clubs have therefore been “sent back to the sender.”
Roma were one of the sides to show concrete appreciation, believing Luis Henrique could thrive in Serie A.
However, Inter share that view and see no benefit in parting ways prematurely.
The Nerazzurri do not want to risk regretting a sale made before the player has been given proper time and trust.

give him a chance now since Dumfries is injured
He has been given multiple chances but his problem is his indecisiveness. Darmian would’ve had a couple of goals and assists if he was fit to play the matches Henrique played. Henrique can actually dribble but too stupid to not realize he must give the pass or pass at key moments. However the biggest aspect that he lacks is the explosiveness that it’s required to play in that position when attacking like he must join in attacks and try to win headers because Dimarco/Bastoni will always deliver a first time cross. Augusto played for a few minutes and it was clear Henrique lacks the desire to sprint forward without the ball making that side very underwhelming when he plays
Calling him “too stupid” negates your comment. People had already made up their mind about this player before he had more than 100mins played. He may still be a flop in the end, but I don’t get how fans can attack our own players for nothing.
