Cristian Chivu is no stranger to the famous Derby della Madonnina, having faced the Rossoneri as an Inter defender in the 2010s.

However, tonight will mark his managerial debut in this mouth-watering fixture.

The 45-year-old can draw confidence from Inter’s purple patch, with his side winning their last four matches in a row.

Unlike Chivu, Massimiliano Allegri coached Milan in this matchup eight times.

Indeed, he was in charge of the club between 2010 and 2013.

Furthermore, he also faced the Nerazzurri on a number of occasions across his two stints at Juventus.

And it’s fair to say that he enjoys taking on Inter.

Allegri boasts an impressive record of 16 wins from 26 previous matches against the 20-time Italian champions.
