Inter center-forward Marcus Thuram enjoyed a promising return to the field despite the Nerazzurri’s 1-0 loss to AC Milan.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the French striker was Inter’s best player on the pitch.
Marcus Thuram made his first Serie A start since September after recovering from a hamstring injury.
Indeed, the 28-year-old last featured for the Nerazzurri in a controversial 4-3 defeat at Juventus in mid-September.
However, a lengthy spell on the sidelines had not dulled his sharpness.
Marcus Thuram Impresses in Inter 0-1 AC Milan Defeat

Thuram nearly opened the scoring in the fourth minute, yet Mike Maignan made a fabulous save to deny his diving header.
Despite failing to put his French compatriot to the test after that, Thuram heavily impacted proceedings at San Siro.
Indeed, he drew a penalty for his side in the 74th minute.
Strahinja Pavlovic tackled Thuram down to the box, forcing Simone Sozza to award a penalty to Inter after a brief VAR review.
Unfortunately, Hakan Calhanoglu failed to convert the spot-kick, as Maignan pulled off another vital save.
Unlike Thuram, Lautaro Martinez had a relatively quiet night by his high standard.
Apart from testing Maignan’s reflexes in the 37th minute, El Toro struggled to make an impact.
