Henrik Mkhitaryan has been confirmed in Inter Milan’s squad for their Serie A clash against Pisa after recovering from a thigh muscle injury.

The Armenian midfielder had been sidelined for over a month due to a semitendinosus issue in his left leg.

However, he has now returned to full training with the first team.

Cristian Chivu, assessing Mkhitaryan and his fitness in the final sessions, has decided to include him in the Inter squad for the trip to Pisa.

Sky Sport reports, via FCInterNews, that the midfielder will be available for selection.

Indeed providing Inter with additional creativity and experience in the middle of the park.

The decision comes as Inter look to bounce back from recent setbacks.

Furthermore, strengthening their squad options for the match under Chivu.

Mkhitaryan’s presence offers a boost to the Nerazzurri, who aim to regain momentum in Serie A.

The Nerazzurri have faltered slightly in the last week, with narrow defeats to Milan and Atletico Madrid.
