Lautaro Martinez inspired Inter Milan to an all-important 2-0 away win over Serie A newcomers Pisa on Sunday afternoon.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, El Toro was the best player on the pitch, recovering from a rough patch.

Inter Milan returned to winning ways after two consecutive defeats to Atletico Madrid and AC Milan.

Indeed, Cristian Chivu’s side maintained a one-point deficit to early pacesetters Milan with a clinical win.

Lautaro Martinez scored his first Serie A brace of the season, netting twice beyond the hour mark to seal Inter’s win.

Furthermore, the 28-year-old became the leading goalscorer in Italy’s top flight, leapfrogging Hakan Calhanoglu at the top of the charts.

Perhaps surprisingly, it was only the second time this season that the Argentine superstar has scored on the road.

Meanwhile, Piotr Zielinski, who took Petar Sucic’s place at the start of the second half, delivered another impressive performance.

Indeed, the Polish ace played his part in Inter’s opening goal, releasing Francesco Pio Esposito in space with a defense-splitting pass.
