Inter Milan could reportedly launch a winter offer for Atalanta loanee Marco Palestra in the January transfer window.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 20-year-old has emerged as a potential target for the Nerazzurri.
Palestra has enjoyed a stellar start to the season at Cagliari.
Indeed, the young defender joined the Islanders on loan from Atalanta in the summer to gain experience in Serie A.
However, he has already exceeded expectations at the Unipol Domus.
Inter Milan Keen on Atalanta Loanee Marco Palestra
Palestra has already established himself as a regular starter under Fabio Pisacane, making 11 league starts so far.
Therefore, he is the only player born in 2005 to have amassed at least ten Serie A starts this season.
Furthermore, he has drawn a league-high 31 fouls. And he is also the division’s third-most successful dribbler.
Therefore, Inter could lodge a bid for the talented defender in January as they seek a replacement for Denzel Dumfries.
However, Palestra won’t come cheap, with Atalanta slapping a €30 million price tag on their prodigious defender.
