Inter Milan remain closely interested in Argentine forward Nico Paz.
According to Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri are keeping a close eye on the Como star, amid reports that Real Madrid are hovering over their option to buy the player back.
The Argentine has made a strong impression in Serie A this season, leading the league in goal contributions with 10 in just 13 appearances.
Paz has a special connection with Javier Zanetti, who played alongside his father Pablo for Argentina in France ’98.
Furthermore, Zanetti has acted almost as a mentor for the young forward.
This relationship has fueled Inter’s interest.
However, they face competition from Real Madrid, who hold a buy-back clause valid until 2027 for just €10 million and a 50% stake in any future sale.
Inter Hope First-Team Football Can Sway Como Starlet Nico Paz Away From Real Madrid

Nico Paz is clear about his ambitions: he wants to be a central figure in whichever project he joins.
If he returns to Real Madrid, he will expect a plan where he can play a key role.
This opens opportunities for Italian clubs.
Como, his current team, are keen to retain him, particularly if they qualify for European competition.
Inter could enter the picture should Real Madrid decide to exercise their buy-back and then look to sell.
Premier League sides are also monitoring him, with Tottenham reportedly offering €60 million plus bonuses during the summer.
Last Monday, Paz attended a charity event in Milan hosted by the Fondazione Pupi, where he mingled with several Inter players.
Indeed, further highlighting the club’s interest in the young forward.
The encounter underlined Inter’s long-standing admiration and possible intent to approach him if the right opportunity arises.
As the Serie A season continues, Nico Paz’s trajectory remains a hot topic.
Therefore, Inter are poised to act if circumstances align.
Indeed, balancing the challenge of Madrid’s contractual control with the player’s desire for regular first-team football.

Don’t tease us.
Only in our dreams. He’ll cost upwards of $60m in the summer.
he would thrive in miki place in this Inter team.
we have $40 saved from not buying Lookman. add that to next seasons transfer budget plus the sale of fratessi and we will have plenty to drop on this kid.
if Inter are serious about him then they need to spend serious money. the kid is the real deal.
*$40 million……not $40.
as we continue to monitor he will end upsomewhere else.
Paz will hardly get much minutes in Real as he can with us. They have Tchouameni, Valverde and Camavinga in the middle, and there are many, many quality options in offense, behind centre forward. Jude, Guler, Masta, Vini, Rodrygo, Brahim and none of these players are over 27 years old. With us he’ll have guaranteed starter place, plus with many players leaving on summer, Mhiki, probably 2 players out of Zielinski/ Frattesi/ Hakan and Diouf maybe positioning on right side.
Inter missed their chance. Let him go ride the bench at Madrid, if that is what he wants.
The chances of us getting Paz are really slim… we should go for Bernabe if we can’t get him….
isn’t he an advanced midfielder? (no.10)
