Inter Milan have decided to reward Carlos Augusto for his consistent performances and versatility on the pitch.

The Brazilian has regularly stepped up, often covering multiple positions when required, earning the club’s trust.

According to Il Giorno, via FCInter1908, Inter are set to offer the former Monza defender a contract extension until 2030.

The proposed deal would see his annual salary rise from €2.2 million to €3 million, reflecting his importance to the team and the value he brings across different roles.

Carlos Augusto’s current contract runs until 30 June 2028, meaning the new agreement would secure his presence at San Siro for two more years beyond the original expiry.

The club’s decision underscores their commitment to retaining key players who combine quality and adaptability in the squad.

Carlos Augusto has found himself utilised in both defensive and more advanced roles this season.

The Brazilian has filled in at centre-back, whilst also playing on the right wing.
