Inter Milan boss Cristian Chivu has entrusted Hakan Calhanoglu with two key responsibilities ahead of tonight’s game against Liverpool.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, Chivu has handed the 31-year-old two tasks for tonight.

Despite a turbulent summer, filled with wild transfer speculation, Hakan Calhanoglu has been the cornerstone of Inter’s midfield this term.

Indeed, the former AC Milan star has been at the peak of his powers under Cristian Chivu, re-emerging as one of Serie A’s most prolific midfielders.

For context, Calhanoglu has netted six league goals this season, most recently scoring in a 4-0 demolition of Como.
