Inter Milan star Denzel Dumfries has reportedly severed ties with the famous football agent, Jorge Mendes.

According to the Italian media via FCInter1908, the Dutch wingback has already chosen a new representative.  

Denzel Dumfries joined Mendes’ client stable a year ago amid protracted contract renewal talks with Inter.

Indeed, Jorge Mendes helped the 29-year-old pen a new long-term deal at San Siro, pledging his future to the Nerazzurri until 2028.

Dumfries’ decision has come out of the blue.

Currently sidelined with a long-term ankle injury, Dumfries has decided to part ways with Mendes.

Furthermore, he has already appointed Ali Barat as his new entourage.

As one of the most influential agents in world football, Barat will take charge of Dumfries’ next career steps, including any potential transfer talks.

Whether this move could reshape the former PSV Eindhoven star’s future at Inter is still unclear.

However, there’s a chance he could leave the club at the end of the season.
