Inter Milan stars Hakan Calhanoglu and Matteo Darmian will not be available for the upcoming Supercoppa Italiana showdown against Bologna.
According to Sky Sport via FCInter1908, the injured duo will watch Friday’s match in Riyadh from the sidelines.
Despite traveling to Saudi Arabia with the rest of the team, Hakan Calhanoglu is lacking match fitness.
Indeed, the 31-year-old sustained a muscle injury in last Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Liverpool.
Therefore, he was unavailable for Sunday’s Serie A trip to Genoa.
Calhanoglu & Darmian Unavailable for Bologna vs Inter Milan Clash

Though not fully fit, Calhanoglu has made Inter’s Supercoppa Italiana squad.
However, Cristian Chivu is unwilling to risk aggravating the Turkish midfielder’s fitness.
As a result, Calhanoglu completed a separate training session away from the team today.
The same applies to Matteo Darmian, who has finally recovered from a long-term calf injury.
Indeed, the 36-year-old has been out of action since suffering a calf problem in the match against Slavia Prague in late September.
Deemed unfit to feature, Darmian will not be in contention for the team on Friday.
