Atalanta’s rising star, Marco Palestra, remains one of the top priorities for Inter Milan ahead of the January transfer window.

According to La Repubblica via FCInterNews, the Serie A giants are still ‘dreaming’ of signing the 20-year-old.

Currently on loan at Cagliari, Marco Palestra has established himself as one of Serie A’s hottest prospects.

Aware of Palestra’s potential, Atalanta have slapped a substantial €40 million price tag on the player’s shoulders.

Such a prohibitive figure could pose a potential obstacle in Inter’s pursuit of the talented teenager.

However, the Nerazzurri remain determined and could explore various strategies to secure his signature despite the hefty valuation.

Elsewhere, they’re keeping close tabs on several other Serie A stars, including Fiorentina’s Dodo.

Genoa’s Brooke Norton-Cuffy might be another potential option for Inter as they aim to replace the injured Denzel Dumfries.
