Luis Henrique is reportedly the frontrunner to start on the right wing in Sunday’s Serie A showdown between Atalanta and Inter Milan.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Brazilian winger is in line for his seventh consecutive start across all competitions.

Inter Milan splashed out €24 million to sign Luis Henrique from Marseille in June, hoping he could become a future superstar.

However, the 23-year-old has struggled at the beginning of his career in Serie A, falling short of his price tag.

Despite his underwhelming form, Henrique’s playing time has drastically increased in recent weeks.

Needless to say, several injury setbacks have forced the Brazilian’s return to the starting lineup.

Indeed, Inter have been without Denzel Dumfries for over a month now.

Meanwhile, Matteo Darmian has been in the pits since September.

Therefore, Henrique has made six competitive starts in a row, registering only one assist.

Furthermore, he flopped in last Friday’s Supercoppa Italiana loss to Bologna.

However, he’s still favored to start against Atalanta over Andy Diouf.
