Inter Milan flop Davide Frattesi is desperate to feature for Italy at next summer’s FIFA World Cup and could force his move to Juventus.

According to Corriere della Sera via FCInterNews, the former Sassuolo midfielder will do whatever it takes to make the Azzurri squad.

Cristian Chivu vowed to help the 26-year-old revive his career at San Siro upon his arrival in June.

However, the Romanian manager has failed to live up to his promise.

Indeed, Chivu has handed Frattesi just four competitive starts this season, including one in Serie A.

Therefore, the player is open to leaving the Nerazzurri this winter.

With the World Cup around the corner, Davide Frattesi cannot afford to spend the second half of the season on the bench.

Therefore, he could request a transfer next month, with Juventus closely monitoring his situation at Giuseppe Meazza.

Furthermore, the Turin giants are looking to leverage Inter’s interest in Sassuolo ace Tarik Muharemovic to drive the price down.

Indeed, they have no intention of matching Inter’s €35 million asking price for Frattesi.
