Serie A title hopefuls Juventus have reportedly identified Inter Milan flop Davide Frattesi as their top transfer target.

According to Tuttosport via FCInter1908, the Turin giants view the 26-year-old as an ideal mid-season signing.

Davide Frattesi is on the verge of leaving San Siro.

Indeed, the versatile midfielder has lost his first-team status under Cristian Chivu, playing a marginal role in the new system.

For context, Frattesi has made just four competitive starts this season, including one in Serie A.

With the FIFA World Cup on the horizon, Frattesi is desperate to secure regular first-team football in the second half of the season.

Since that’s virtually impossible to happen at Giuseppe Meazza, the former Sassuolo man is ready to pack his bags.

Meanwhile, Luciano Spalletti is eager to offer him a chance to salvage his career at the Allianz Stadium.

However, Juventus must find a way to persuade Inter to sanction Frattesi’s departure without matching his €30 million price tag.
