Inter Milan have reportedly identified the outgoing Al-Hilal star Joao Cancelo as a concrete target for the January transfer window.
According to Sport Mediaset via FCInterNews, the 31-year-old could return to San Siro only on two conditions.
Joao Cancelo is on the verge of leaving Riyadh less than two years after joining Al-Hilal from Manchester City.
Indeed, the Portuguese right-back has fallen out of favor with the new manager, Simone Inzaghi, and his coaching staff.
Therefore, he’s looking to return to Europe this winter.
Inter Milan to Sign Joao Cancelo on Two Conditions

Despite Cancelo’s willingness to rejoin the Nerazzurri, Inter cannot match Al-Hilal’s valuation.
As such, the Serie A leaders can only sign the former Juventus ace on loan with an option to buy.
Furthermore, Cancelo earns around €15.5 million net per season.
That salary would make him the highest-earning player in Serie A.
However, Cancelo’s wages are well beyond Inter’s financial reach.
Therefore, he would have to take a substantial pay cut in order to facilitate his transfer to Milan.
