Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu is set to confirm the same starting XI that defeated Atalanta as the Nerazzurri host Bologna in this evening’s Serie A clash. Kick-off is scheduled for 20:45 CET at San Siro.
Inter Milan return to league action aiming to banish another lingering taboo and reclaim top spot, following last week’s heavyweight win away to Atalanta.
The Nerazzurri are also seeking revenge after recent disappointments against Bologna, including elimination from the Supercoppa Italiana and dropped points in the league.

Despite the return of Francesco Acerbi to full training, Chivu appears ready to reward continuity after a convincing performance in Bergamo.
Inter Milan vs Bologna – Zielinski Keeps Place As Chivu Resists Changes

Chivu has decided to reconfirm the entire eleven that started against Atalanta.
That means Manuel Akanji will once again operate centrally in defence between Yann Bisseck and Alessandro Bastoni, despite Acerbi’s recovery.
On the right flank, Luis Henrique keeps his place once more as the temporary solution in the continued absence of Denzel Dumfries, while Federico Dimarco is again confirmed on the left.
In midfield, Hakan Calhanoglu will anchor play, with Nicolo Barella alongside him. Piotr Zielinski looks set to start again, narrowly edging Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the ongoing selection battle.
Thu-La Confirmed As Chivu Trusts Experience Up Front

One of the main talking points ahead of kick-off concerned Inter’s attacking choices.
Despite the energy and impact shown recently by Francesco Pio Esposito, Chivu has opted once again for the trusted Thu-La partnership of Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram.
The decision is also influenced by the continued absence of Ange-Yoan Bonny. The French forward has returned to group training and is improving, but remains a doubt for the match and may miss out on the squad altogether.
Lautaro, who has an excellent scoring record against Bologna, will lead the line as captain, with Thuram providing pace and physicality alongside him.

Everyone left the Inter game to watch El Clasico. This pathetic.
So Sommer is in the post come on!!!!!
GOOOOLLLLLLL
I missed the game because I was at work. But, amazing inter. I’m proud of my team and proud to be interista. I just don’t understand this team sometimes, it’s like it has different faces every match, inter that dominates, inter that is struggling, vulnerable etc..
I want to see this team win every game. But these expectations are unrealistic. I guess.
+1
Top scorer Lautaro and top assister Dimarco.
Important win after the new year but I will say it’s frustrating we didn’t beat them in the super cup.
This season we haven’t got any points against any top 5 team in the league and have lost when it mattered the most (super cup).
Now we have ucl and if we don’t get points the last two games we will fall out of top 8 and have to play two extra games in playoffs during winter.
Let’s hope we don’t have to and we keep winning. Forza
After those 2 matches against athletico and Liverpool where we lost final stages playoffs is inevitable
Great job guys. These kinds of wins give trust to the players and make them more secure about their quality and potential.
Of course. Now lets hope Andy gets well soon. Henrique needs to rest a bit and learn some new tricks. Forza Inter brothers
nice three points…but the match against napoli will be money maker!
Lets wreck the milkmakers first. 1-3 vs parmamafia
awee.. a i like parma.. they have been good to us. gave us nice players in the past! ;). it’s the f* cuntes face I want to see shat on!
Neres is injured and Chivu has learnt his lesson and I don’t think he would play DeVrij or Acerbi because Akanji and Bisseck are much more adaptable to the high press.
Lets hope chris learned and delivers. Forza Inter
Yes. Akanji is reliable, whereas Bisseck has a lot to work on. There is improvement from last year, and if he can keep it up, who know he may even be a starter for years to come.
Important win against strong Bologna. Another big win after Atalanta. Forza Inter.
Whats important is that this davide is crying in the corner. Fills my heart with joy to see those haters covered in tears. Davide…cry me a river girl. Little rube beoch. Forza Inter. And never forger sanchez 120:00 goal girl. Rubentina beoch. Forza Inter and …Forza Inter
According to David, Inter would be fighting with Pisa, Fiorentina, and Verona for relegation, and Chivu would be long gone. The literal opposite is happening.
Respect Bruno. I hope we’re all here to support Inter and not hate on Beppe and Chivu. Forza Inter…and..Forza Inter brothers. That 0-5 will not erase my love for this team. Just like the 5th of may didnt crush me. Forza Inter brothers.
3-1 is such an unflattering scoreline!! 6-0 would have been a better reflection of the game as a whole, but back to the top we go, playing total football!! If Chivu can find a way to end our direct rival curse, we’ll walk this league!! FORZA INTER!!!
To be honest ….i kinda expect the chivu line up to let one in. So lets outscore them. Forza Inter bro.
we are playing badly without the staring 11 on the field..
Thought it was basics to not sub during a set piece
Sommer for a moment decided to become Handanovc!
Handanovic served well for so many bad years. WFT is your problem?
He wasn’t present here during his golden years.
He is a rube ragebait beoch. Thats his problem
Silly goal to concede, and Sommer not covering himself in glory, but hey, we’re Pazza Inter!!
Planning to make one- 2 min task
I don’t trust Sommer anymore, especially in a big match., He always makes mistake.
sommer used to work in a chicken farm, that’s why his reflexes are similar to a person catching chickens
I dunno. Was out for a smoke. Cant leave these guys alone for 2 sec. They find a way to let one in 😉
lol
And the award for the saddest rube fan goes to davide. Rest in peace girl. Inter won. Cry more
Lauti should have had a hatrick again today
True brother
Game, Set and Match!! Great win to start the new year!! This could easily have been 10!!!
Would have loved that
Thuram is becoming a nightmare according to Paulo. Funny how he was involved in the first goal and just scored another goal. I swear some people will just say whatever stupid thought comes to mind. Same with the dudes saying Zielinski is finished and hasn’t played well on this match.
Game over, time for all the rest subs,
3-0
Thuram really had to celebrate like that Lol
Be happy be celebrated like everyone wanted
That’s the point he was criticised for not celebrating “properly” Lol
Honestly all the people that hate on Sucic do not understand what a talent is anymore, people expect him – or other players – to consistently perform but you cannot do that when you’re unproven and young in a team like inter. It’s good that he’s making mistakes because every mistake teaches him something. So shut the f up about him, not every player is like lamine yamal, give him time and he will be one of serie A’s best midfielders.
no need to defend him, this team is full of preasure. if he not strong enough mentally, i suggest him to go play for palermo instead.
Correct. Being great under pressure is what differentiates greats from average players. If he can’t sustain it, he is in the wrong place.
Well he got competition the coach won’t sit there and watch the guy making mistakes just for the sake of growing when he got other players and matches to win. They’re getting paid top dollars for a reason. He must step up and that means he must take more risk and a club like Inter just doing enough isn’t enough that’s what happen to Gaglia, Asslani and now Henrique. Mikhi gets trusted because his experience means he can close out matches but Sucic must prove to the coach somehow that he’s not passive and he’d in the match to make something happen just like Hakan, Barella and Zielinski who all make mistakes but balance them out with making something
Should have been 6-0
i think is time to sub in pio for toro. that guys hate tap in.
this ref loves to give yellows to inter but not bologna
Bruh…after tagliavento and calvarese…guida is the biggest beoch.::but he chilled with time…so this is the best we have right not. Massa and doveri fall to fiat money…ayoroldi and marianni are girls to begin with..and daniela chifi,..milan fan…so pretty hard to find a decent ref. Sozza says choking pio is not a foul so i rather not say a thing. And their boss —rocchi…the juve 304 on a payroll…so
When we win the title…remember we did it despite the mafia in italy. Forza Inter brother
should have been 3
Is this Goalie actually good or is it one of those games.
I think its one of those games that only happen against us
launti only allowed to score in a hard way. no tap in. lol
that was close!
Lauti overpraised))) overexcited
Over shut it. Thats out captain.
Broken toe?
Lauti…How do you miss that?
Lautaro deserve the goal and the best player on the field. What a captain
LAUTAROOO!!!! EL TORO THE GOAT
Absolute Bullet Header!!! El Toro!!! goooaaalll!!!! Get In!!!!
One broken finger but a hard head!!!!!!
if Chivu wins today, I think he will win the manager of the month award. for November.
Много такива като тебе вече плакаха парцал
I don’t do Bulgarian language and are you sure you weren’t among them too!!!!
Cry me a river rubentino. Here we support inter. You can always lube yourself and wait for us.
Ok brothers. That was my smoke break. Lets wreck this clowns and top the league again. Forza Inter. See you after the game
Agree with Fiorentina belongs in A. About our team. Good combinations and Lautaro is not only goalcorer but also the best brain in front. Notice that the behated Henrique is continuing doing a fair job, not a single mispass. Still a bit humble though.
Good first half. Chivu is making Serie A exciting with this high intensity football. Such a beautiful sight to behold and breath of fresh air! Forza Chivu! Forza Inter!!! I’m aware it’s only the first half but this is a sign of things to come in the near future. Chivu is laying out the blueprint for ultra attacking football at Inter.
Thank you for your actual possitive look brother. Breath of fresh air in this swarm of plastic fans. Forza Inter my friend
I can’t understand why some hate on Chivu so much. He’s new to senior coaching ffs and is doing pretty well. Also, those who criticize him clearly didn’t follow him during his primavera days. Chivu is a student of total football and believes in it wholeheartedly.
not related to inter but glad Fiorentina is winning! With their history, they should not get relegated. No I am not a Fiorentina fan but I. would rather see them than Ac or rube or c.unte,.
Right about one thing. Not related. Here we root for inter
Lol you’re right but I agree with him
Anyone remember the 93 season. I think it was 93. Or 94 maybe. 3rd to relegation over a personal issue between the coach and the president. And they were packing. So f me so engaging in off topic. Forza Inter. Dont care about viola
Forza Zielinski. Hope we keep this result. We scored first also in Supercoppa.
Nah nah. Possitive thought only. Or else it gets the hose again.
On a serious side – really hope guida cage his ego and do his actual job. Little clown that guy
Thuram is becoming an absolute nightmare
He’s playing like it’s minute 94 but its still first half
blogna goalkeeper is insane
thts what happen when your balls is empty.
Its spelled “lucky” my friend
Nope Inter finishing is just bad. Other than Lautaro who wants to score others just seem to try to link up play or weak shots something that Thuram has been doing for a while now. Zielinski actually produced a clear shot on goal and he scored
Proven as I said Barella is useless inside the box. The ball falls to him and he can only think about link up play instead of shooting. WASTEFUL
Miki would’ve blasted that right at the goalie.
poland has always been a great country.
not in everything but okay lol
Our best midfielder by a mile this season!!! Zielinski!!!!
i will put him in 2nd behind hakan 🙂
Zielinski improved with Chivu but Hakan has always been the best since more than 2 years
That’s how to score a goal.
zelinski is not playing anything
you didn’t watch
and he scores!
1-0 Zielinsky lol
lol indeed
Barella would’ve taken a few touches then miss
should we comment like this again for someone who will score? lol
i wish
This guy Barella. He complains about EVERYTHING POSSIBLE. Its so annoying.
its normal, coz he run so much,
Its actually not normal, Most players, Who complain so much actually take responsiblity when they themselves mess up. Barella? Even when he himself messes up, he complains.
its okay, coz he is barella.
:))))
Feel free to go rewatch the 93767345 draw of your team
Not a good play by guida. Starting his usual. The diva that wants to be the center of the act. Forza Inter. Lets wreck these gamblers
I’m starting to think that this team is a social experiment designed to ragebait us
bologn play the referee with their overreacting
nah, again
Another bent ref
Thuram completely disinterested
And a GK haing the game of his life
New year, same sh*t ♂️
Well, I’d hoped that Inters New Years resolution may have been to stop being so wasteful in front of goal…. apparently not! 25 minutes in, and Ravaglia is on at least 6 saves….
this bologna goalkeeper is on fire rn
3 or 4 great chances, ended no goal
Andy stretched. Not a biggie. Lesgooo
It’s time to take whats ours. Forza Inter
After years, time to win against Bologna. Or will be shaked legs like in Supercoppa?
Let’s start 2026 with a Bang!! Let’s Gooooooo!!! FORZA INTER!!!
OK, let’s go. Forza Inter.
