Sassuolo president Giovanni Carnevali has dismissed rumors linking Tarik Muharemovic with a January move to Inter Milan.
Speaking to DAZN via FCInterNews, the Neroverdi chief confirmed that the club won’t sell the youngster this winter.
Tarik Muharemovic is one of the most highly rated young prospects in Serie A, with several clubs closely monitoring his progress.
Indeed, Inter and Juventus could start a transfer tug-of-war to sign the 22-year-old center-back.
However, it would likely have to wait until the summer.

Despite growing interest in the Bosnian’s signature, Sassuolo have no intention of letting him go in January.
Given Muharemovic’s importance to Fabio Grosso’s setup, that’s hardly surprising.
Indeed, the former Juventus starlet has made 15 Serie A starts this season, establishing himself as Sassuolo’s defensive cornerstone.
“We’ve received many inquiries for Muharemovic,” Carnevali confirmed. “We’ve been in contact with several clubs, but we won’t sell him in January.”
Though a January move is no longer on the cards, the situation could change in the summer.
With Francesco Acerbi, Matteo Darmian, and Stefan de Vrij set to leave in June, Inter will have no choice but to sign a new defender.
And Muharemovic ticks many of the boxes, fitting Inter’s profile in terms of age and long-term potential.
