Inter Milan and Galatasaray have been locked in talks over the transfer of Davide Frattesi for weeks.
According to Matteo Moretto via FCInterNews, negotiations have reached an impasse, perhaps opening the door for Juventus.
Galatasaray opened talks with Inter over Frattesi’s move to Rams Park toward the end of the last calendar year.
Furthermore, Okan Buruk’s men had initially shown readiness to match Inter’s €35 million asking price.
However, negotiations have gone sideways.
Talks Between Inter & Galatasaray over Davide Frattesi Reach Impasse
Galatasaray had hoped to sign Davide Frattesi on loan with an option to buy.
Yet, Cristian Chivu’s men are insisting on a mandatory buyout clause.
Therefore, Inter are eager to include easily achievable appearance-related conditions that would automatically trigger the clause.
On the other hand, the Lions have been reluctant to accept such terms.
As such, the deal doesn’t seem close, with negotiations now on the verge of collapse.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray have reportedly set their sights on Atalanta’s Ederson.
With Frattesi now unlikely to move to Istanbul, Juventus could swoop in and clinch a deal with the Nerazzurri.
