Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez failed to live up to the billing in last night’s Serie A top-of-the-table clash against Napoli.
According to the Italian media via L’Interista, the Argentine center-forward lacked his usual sharpness in front of goal.
Cristian Chivu’s side squandered the lead twice in an action-packed 2-2 draw at San Siro.
Meanwhile, Federico Dimarco and Hakan Calhanoglu scored for the Nerazzurri.
Unfortunately, Lautaro Martinez has failed to find the net in his second consecutive Serie A game.

After scoring in five league matches on the trot, El Toro was on course to match Julio Ricardo Cruz’s impressive feat.
Indeed, the former Argentine striker scored in seven successive Serie A appearances in 2007.
As such, he was the last Nerazzurri star to achieve that record.
However, Lautaro drew a blank in Inter’s 2-0 win at Parma on Wednesday.
Despite looking to return to the scoresheet last night, the 28-year-old never had a clear sight of goal.
Though he left his soul on the pitch, the former Racing Club goal-getter couldn’t put Vanja Milinkovic-Savic to the test.
