Serie A giants Inter Milan are reportedly one step away from announcing the arrival of Hajduk Split prodigy Branimir Mlacic.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, the clubs have agreed on terms for the youngster’s transfer to San Siro.
Inter Milan lodged an official offer for the 18-year-old defender yesterday.
Indeed, the Nerazzurri tabled a €5 million bid for one of Europe’s most sought-after talents.
More importantly, the Croatian side immediately accepted Inter’s proposal, with Branimir Mlacic expected to sign the contract soon.
Inter Milan & Hajduk Agree Terms for Branimir Mlacic

Despite initially looking to include Mlacic in the U23 squad, Inter have had a late change of heart.
Instead, they’ve decided to let the Croatian starlet remain in Split until the summer and continue his development.
Therefore, they’ve allowed Hajduk to keep Mlacic for the rest of the season to sweeten the deal.
As such, Mlacic will arrive at San Siro in six months.
Meanwhile, Beppe Marotta has also overcome stiff competition from Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Olympique Marseille.
