Piotr Zielinski is likely to make another Serie A start when Inter Milan take on Lecce at San Siro tomorrow night.

According to Sky Sport via FCInter1908, he is the likeliest candidate to replace the injured Hakan Calhanoglu.

Inter lost the Turkish playmaker to a calf injury in the dying moments of Sunday’s home draw against Napoli.

Therefore, the 31-year-old is facing a month-long spell in the pits, leaving Cristian Chivu with a choice to make.

With Calhanoglu unavailable for selection, Chivu must trust the playmaker’s role to someone else.

Having already deputized for the former AC Milan star, Piotr Zielinski has emerged as an ideal replacement.

Furthermore, Henrikh Mkhitaryan will probably regain his place in the starting lineup after being benched against Napoli.

Needless to say, Nicolo Barella has a guaranteed starting spot.

Meanwhile, Petar Sucic remains an outside option to feature from the first minute.

However, Chivu is more likely to keep him in reserve for the latter stages of the match.
