Turkish giants Galatasaray have reportedly pulled the plug on their pursuit of Inter Milan fringe midfielder Davide Frattesi.
According to Turkish outlet Akit via FCInterNews, the reigning Super Lig holders are no longer interested in the 26-year-old.
Galatasaray have recently emerged as the frontrunners in the race to sign Davide Frattesi.
Indeed, Okan Buruk’s men have overtaken Juventus, largely thanks to Inter’s desire to offload their flop to a foreign club.
However, Frattesi’s staggering €40 million price tag has always been a sticking point.
Galatasaray Drop Interest in Inter Milan Flop Davide Frattesi

Despite sending emissaries to Italy to negotiate Frattesi’s transfer, Galatasaray have reportedly withdrawn from the race.
Despite Buruk’s recent praise of the former Sassuolo man, they’ve decided to focus on other targets.
Therefore, Frattesi could reluctantly stay at San Siro, even though Cristian Chivu continues to keep him on the bench.
Indeed, he has only made four competitive starts across all competitions this season, including one in Serie A.
With Hakan Calhanoglu facing a month-long spell in the pits, this could be Frattesi’s chance to prove his worth to Chivu.
