Inter Milan striker Ange-Yoan Bonny is set to return to the starting lineup for tonight’s Serie A home showdown against Lecce.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Frenchman is likely to take Lautaro Martinez’s place in the final third.

It’s been over two months since Bonny last started a game in Serie A.

Indeed, the 22-year-old scored in a 2-0 home triumph over Lazio at the beginning of November.

However, he has since made just 32 minutes in Italy’s top flight, largely thanks to niggling injury problems.

After regaining full fitness, Bonny is ready to make his long-awaited return to the starting XI.

Furthermore, he will partner up with his compatriot, Marcus Thuram, with El Toro expected to start on the bench.

Bonny has tallied four goals and four assists in 14 league appearances this season.

Therefore, he has proved to be a major scoring outlet for Cristian Chivu’s side.

Meanwhile, Francesco Pio Esposito is likely to get some minutes off the bench.
