Inter Milan have taken concrete steps towards securing the long-term future of Yann Bisseck, holding talks with the German defender’s agent over a possible contract extension.
According to reports, a meeting took place at Inter’s headquarters last Wednesday between sporting director Piero Ausilio and agent Yusuf Kandemir.
The latter represents Bisseck.
Discussions centred on a renewal that would include an improved contract.
Indeed, reflecting the defender’s growing importance within the squad.
There is no immediate urgency from Inter’s side.
Bisseck Renewal On Table For Inter Milan

Bisseck only signed his current deal last year, which saw his salary rise from €750,000 to €1.5 million net per season, with the contract running until June 2029.
That long-term agreement gives the club a strong negotiating position, but Inter are keen to reward the player’s progress and ensure stability at the back.
The Nerazzurri view Bisseck as a valuable asset, a stance underlined last summer when they rejected a €35 million offer from Crystal Palace.
His physical profile, versatility and development under Cristian Chivu have convinced Inter that he can play a central role in the team’s future.
With the contracts of Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij both approaching their expiry dates, and the possibility that one or both could depart, Inter are planning ahead.
Securing Bisseck with an enhanced deal would be a key part of that strategy as the club looks to refresh its defensive core without sacrificing continuity.

Sell him
Sell sell sell, we could easily get £35m for this liability.
Far better CF than CB
Can’t be trusted, leaves the other CB’s to clean up his positional mess and makes far too many individual errors that lead directly to goals.
Take the money, gate someone more dependable at CB even if they don’t have the “physical” attributes because he doesn’t use them anyway.
We already have a ball playing CB who can move into the midfield (Bastoni) so unless we are going to cash in on him the other two CB need to be safe, defensive minded options.
Funnily enough I don’t actually hate the Harry McGuire link. Although he’ll obviously land at Napoli
