Marcus Thuram has been fined €2,000 after being punished for simulation during Inter Milan’s 1-0 Serie A win over Lecce at San Siro.
The sporting judge, Gerardo Mastrandrea, handed Thuram the fine for simulation, as per FCInterNews.
The incident occurred inside the penalty area during the Serie A fixture at San Siro.
Thuram was booked for the simulation during the match but has now faced further punishment.

In the official ruling, Mastrandrea stated that Thuram had “simulated being subjected to a foul challenge inside the opponents’ penalty area.”
It marks the second disciplinary sanction of this type for the France international.
