Torino head coach Marco Baroni has named his 22-man squad for tonight’s Serie A home match against Roma and Inter-owned Kristjan Asllani is not included.

The midfielder, who remains under contract with Inter Milan, sits outside Torino’s technical plans, as per FCInterNews.

His spell in Turin now appears effectively over as Torino and Inter continue to work together to find a solution on the transfer market.

The priority remains securing a move that allows Asllani regular playing time.

Baroni has also excluded several other players by technical decision.

Saba Sazonov, Niels Nkounkou, Cristiano Biraghi, and Ivan Ilic all miss out against Roma.

Asllani’s absence further fuels speculation over his future. Several clubs are monitoring the situation closely.

The two clubs must work together to find a new destination for the Albanian.
