Another standout was Manuel Akanji, who received a 7.

The Swiss defender neutralised Davis, read danger early, and even dropped in front of the defence when required.

Tuttosport highlighted his growing importance to the team’s balance.

Francesco Pio Esposito also impressed with a 7.

He registered his fourth assist for Lautaro this season and offered constant physical presence. His hold-up play and distribution again proved valuable, even without a goal.

By contrast, Nicolò Barella struggled to impose himself. Rated 5.5, Tuttosport criticised his slow tempo and a costly loss of possession inside the box.

Bonny fared worse, earning a 5 after failing to give Inter an attacking outlet.
