Inter Milan keep winning, but the performance at Udinese again highlighted both their strength and their limits.
As noted by Corriere dello Sport, the Nerazzurri “do not stop,” securing a sixth consecutive away victory and doing so once more through the Esposito–Lautaro axis.
The decisive moment came from Pio Esposito, who expertly controlled a vertical pass from Piotr Zielinski before setting up Lautaro Martinez in ideal conditions to score.
The match itself was largely one-way traffic. Udinese dropped deep almost immediately, packing their own area and allowing Inter to dominate possession and territory.
Udinese 0-1 Inter Milan – Lautaro Decisive Again

Lautaro found the net at his third attempt after squandering two earlier chances, while Inter continued to circulate the ball comfortably and dictate the tempo.
Zielinski repeatedly took advantage of Udinese’s passive approach, finding vertical lanes toward the forwards with ease.
Esposito played a crucial role despite shooting only once.
Between holding up the ball and distributing it cleanly, he made no mistakes and consistently brought teammates into play.
Yet despite controlling the game “almost without effort for more than seventy minutes,” Inter failed to add a second goal.
Only in the closing stages did Cristian Chivu retreat into a 5-4-1 shape, a choice that would have been unnecessary had Inter converted their dominance into another goal and killed the match earlier.
That remains one of the few recurring flaws in this Inter side: wastefulness in front of goal.
On the other hand, defensive solidity now looks firmly established. The clean sheet in Udine was Inter’s 11th in 21 league matches, underlining a reliability that continues to deliver results.
