Inter Milan have turned to a familiar name in their search for a more attacking wing-back as Ivan Perisic wants to return to the Nerazzurri, and Inter are open to the idea.
Italian media report that the interest runs both ways as the January window enters a decisive phase.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, Perisic would even give up a contract running until 2027 with PSV Eindhoven to complete a move back to San Siro.
The Croatian sees Inter as a concrete opportunity. PSV, however, do not share that view. The Dutch club sit comfortably at the top of the Eredivisie and rely heavily on Perisic’s experience and output on the flanks.
PSV Focused on Champions League Amid Talks Of Inter Milan Interest In Perisic

PSV have made their priorities clear. The report explains that the club remain focused on the Champions League.
Despite a heavy defeat away to Newcastle, they still hold 22nd place in the overall European standings. A decisive test now awaits, with Bayern Munich set to visit Eindhoven. If the German giants knock PSV out of contention, the Dutch side could soften their stance and open talks with Inter.
From Inter’s side, the strategy is deliberate.
Time constraints have pushed the club away from signing a young player who would need months to adapt.
Instead, the focus has shifted to proven profiles who already understand the environment. Joao Cancelo previously fit that brief.
Perisic now represents the same logic.
